NEWSLETTER 2009
5 stars have been awarded to Newperran once again and another big thank you to our regular and new customers for staying with us last year. The 5 star award could not have been achieved without you and us working together as a team which also makes a great family atmosphere.
Up dates: The family room which is situated in the Kerrier toilet block with a built in baby bath was a great success. Along with our brand new open air heated deck level swimming pool. Just to recap on the pool for those of you who don't know, the pool has a high wall to help keep the wind chill factor to a minimum and with our new gas boiler system, the pool will be heated much better for your comfort and pleasure. 2009 we are even more excited to add to the pool an electronic pool cover which will be pulled over when the pool is closed. This will keep in more heat through the night to make better enjoyment throughout the day.
The Allet and Cubert fields have 38ft long concrete hard standing to take brand new static caravans which are for sale. If any one is interested please call our selling agents Clas 1 Tel: 0845 833 8909. www.clas1.com
or call Keith or Christine at Newperran for further information. Also we can help customers who own the larger Motorhomes i.e RV's, the hard standing can accommodate these vehicles as well as those of you with touring caravans who would like even more space between you and the next pitch. Please note that there is grass beside the hardstanding for your awnings too.
Some campers did forget that we now have two large fields to play games (Newlyn and Lamorna fields), to fly kites and let your dogs run free. See site map for location.
We also have the Mullion field for standard camping (large grass pitches) for the high season. This field is also used for secure caravan storage. If you are interested to store your caravan, please call Keith or Christine for further information.
The new recycling area has worked fantastic and the benefits have been brilliant, the fields are much cleaner as the wind cannot carry loose paper into the Cornish hedges etc. Also, no foxes rummaging around, seagulls don't bother, no flies or wasps and no bad smells.
Most of our customers are aware, but for those of you who are not. Newperran will be hosting a Nudefest 2009 Event,in June, organised by the British Naturist Society (BN). They enjoyed it so much the last two years, they are coming back for a third year.
For those of you who are not aware of the British Naturist Society, please read on. Newperran is a large enough park for nudist to have their own field and own shower block. Textiles, as you and I are known, will not have access to these areas so therefore do not have any worry about seeing anything you don't want too. We will only take bona fida naturist groups who book in advance who will be vetted. The British Naturist are a very respectable institution and we hold them in high regard. Nudefest 2007/8 were great events. For more information on these please take a look at www.british-naturism.co.uk. BN are in the process of organising June 2009 and we are very much looking forward to having them back. The Garden of Eden was part of the Nudefest 2007. Thanks to Ian Parkinson, the manager of Alton Towers who highly recommended them too. Well done British Naturism. Please also note, which is very important and will put a lot of not so sure campers's minds at rest, the Devon &
Cornwall Police were very impressed with the security levels at Newperran before and after the Nudefest event.
New work being carried out for the 2009 season. As none of us are likely to forget the rain fall last year, we are incorporating hardcore roads within the fields, a horse shoe shaped road in each. This will enable each individual car to spur off to their own pitch. These roads will stop the churning up of the fields and making each fields much easier to come in and out of and a lot more cleaner. The storage field will have the same idea and each storage caravan will be allocated there own particular numbered slot. We are also having lighting installed all the way down the drive which will be safer for everyone. Last but not least, we hope to have a web cam installed, via our website. This should be fun as well as informative to what is happening live on the park.
Last year Christine was on The Weakest Link, Christine might have a go at big brother, will most likely be the first out the door but who cares.
We look forward to seeing you in 2009 and don't forget, just gave us a ring for any information you may need and we will help as best we can.
